The place was very clean and had a relaxed atmosphere. An air conditioning, an ironing set and a study table were important for us. What we truly enjoyed here was the loyal stuff. There is a bar just next door to the building. Would definitely recommend this hotel in Dudley...
The location was good and the staff members where great.
Excellent service, clean room with very comfy bed and good selection of food at breakfast.
Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good. Early bird evening menu excellent value and tasty. Plenty of car parking - a great bonus!
Liked the use of the gym and other sports facilities, food was reasonable price and tasted good.
Room could do with redecoration, not same standard as photos on website
Places near by to visit for the evening.
The welcome was lovely , the staff at reception took the time to tell us about the facilities that were available and the times that these facilities open and closed.
Our room was lovely and clean, but we soon found out why the fan was left in our bedroom without our request, half way through the evening even with the windows open our room became unbelieavably hot and humid even with the fan on at full blast. We tried to phone down to reception and thats when we realised that the room phone was not working at all, i had to use my mobile to phone reception to complain about the lack of AC and the phone being out of order. At first i was told that they only had so many rooms with AC and they were the superior ones and there was none available and they were unaware that the phone was not working, but then the duty manager called me back to say that they did have a room available...Book a room with AC !!!!!
I liked it's proximity to our son's house most of all. It also had pleasant rooms and a good breakfast buffet. The reception staff was very nice and efficient too-always good on arrival and leaving.
I would have liked to see a second comfy chair in our bedroom. Although there were two chairs, the desk chair was not ideal for sitting in to watch tv, and the shape of the bedhead did not make sitting on the bed to watch great either.
the staff are nice and friendly as usual. We were seated promptly at breakfast and the tea was served quickly. The duty manager was very welcoming and helpful as he usuallly his.
Teh TV in my room did not work properly as I could not ger BBC2 or Channel 5. The remote was broken so that may be the reason. Also I stay at the village at least 3 times a year to attend a convention nearby and I think that you should offer discounts for frequent guests like me.
Good facilities, nice breakfast and friendly staff.
Could hardly sleep as the room was like a sauna. Too close to the road to have windows open and the room had a big chrome fan. At first I thought this was for decorative effect but soon realised that it was needed. Because of the hot stuffy room I cannot recommend this hotel. The night I stayed there it was colder outside than it was inside, not a hot summers day.
The Leisure seamed nice but didn't get chance to use it. Staff were friendly.
The Hotel in the past has been good, although this time the Breakfast wasn't good and we waited ages to be seated then the breakfast ran out of sausages we waited 15 minutes still no sausages. Had breakfast and checked out. I booked it for 3 nights but only stayed two, both nights it was very noisy. The rooms were extremly hot and I found the beds very hard. Kind Regards, Janny Hodgkiss Room 267.
lots of nearby entertainmemt
The room was lovely & very comfy
Was disappointed with the breakfast. The coffee was not nice, the pastries were hard and the yogurt & granola pots were soggy. I have stayed at many hotels and the quality of the food and drink at breakfast let the hotel down sorry.
room too hot with not way of cooling down apart form opening the window and listen too the traffic, reception not help whrn asking foe assistance. pillows worn out room not cleaned properly. breakfast four vists to the buffet area before any food was put out, and eggs not fully cooked.
The hotel looks very nice from the outside, very large car park. A starbucks in the reception area is something different. The receptionist was very pleasant and friendly, she told us we had a free upgrade as there were no standard rooms left, which was a bonus.
The interior of the hotel feels slightly neglected, and well used. The corridors are very long and the general feel is one of a cheap motel. Once in the room the decore again was well worn, even though we were told it was in the new part. The colours and lighting gave the place a very dingy feeling. Although we were disappointed it was not to a level that we felt the need to complain, we just felt that for the price and a 4 star rating the standards would have been higher. Also after 9.30pm we were unable to get anything to eat in the bar or room service.
